Wednsday, 28th September, "Loading"
Loading container of the sculpture onto truck today. Setting this piece on site is scheduled sometime in October after our trip to U.S.A.(HK)
Tuesday, 27th September, "Boxing"
Start making container crate for the sculpture of Shinsuna project(HK)
Sunday, 25th September, "Lightsaber 2"
Sean suddenly started making 2nd lightsaber. he told me that this is going to be a double blade!(HK)
Saurday, 24th September, "Potato Picking"
After children's Saturday piano class, we went to dig up potatoes in the IKIIKI garden, where w are participating the monthly educational programme run by town office to learn about food and farming relationship by making various vegitables. We could not attend the last gathering, but we still managed pick up so many of them.(HK)
Wednsday, 20th September, "Sean's Birthday"
For Sean' s 10th birthday today, we had family party only this year.(HK)
Monday, 19th September, "Hungovers"
Hangovers? playing baseball, Boomerang? and climbing the tree.(HK)
Sunday, 18th September, "Ukishima Garden Party"
This is going to be a first ukishima garden party this year. Bonitos(Katsuo fish), scallope and all sorts of drinks. Celebrating the success of Kokaido project again tonight!(HK)
Sunday, 11th September, "Piaano Concert"
Children's piano concert at Himagami Hall.
I am installing the new internal160GB harddisk for my powermacG4, hoping this might improve the performance.(HK)
Saturday, 10th September, "Family Gathering"
These are all my uncles and unts from kesennuma, sea side city where I was born. they came to see Katagiri's new gravestone and we have stayed this nice Onsen hotel nearby in Sendai. I enjoyed evening together with them and i noticed that around meal time, tons of drugs suddenly appeared on the table from somewhere by everybody and became a big session about medical reports. (HK)
Monday, 5th September, "Horse Riding Club"
Emily is very happly going to the riding club near us. Very nice cupple run this horse farm with many young people in Nishine, 12 min. drive from us. We take her often in the morning and pick her up in the evening, so she spend whole day with her absolute loving horses.(HK)
Sunday, 4th September, "Sport Festival"
Ikkatai area sports festival. Ukishima primary school performed the Ukishima traditional sword dance.(HK)
And here is Emily with the lovely new Phillipino friends she met at the sports festival. I went alone to Yorozu Museum to hear the lecture by Tadayasu Sakai, the director of Setagaya Museum in Tokyo. He was saying, "Museums are places for people to meet, not only to see the art works, therefore you need to have the very best works of art to attract interesting people." (HK)

Saturday, 3rd September, "Megumi Honda's Show Opened"
Megumi Honda is having a show at Junko Museum in Kitakami city in Iwate. We went to see her at the opening today. Then went out to have lunch tigether. (HK)

Megumi' s beautiful organic forms looked great in this space. Junko san has asked me to have a show here next year - so will have to get back to work! (KT)

On the way back home we delivered Kate's reliefs for Mr. and Mrs Sasaki in Morioka. They love Kate's pieces. (HK)
