| Friday 25th June, "Back to Ikebukuro" |
| After lunch with Mr. Shin, I flew back to Narita. I got phone call from kami-chan, soon after I have settled down myself in a hotel in tokyo. Went out around Ikebukuro Karaoke and clubs with him untill 5o'clock in the morning! Already hang over but Fun!! Slept like a log on the floor at his office(HK) |

We started chinese sone industry tour from 9 o'clock. First we went to see my marbles. Unfortunately, 2 pieces out of 7 pieces had a crack, so we insisted them to replace with healthy ones. These marbles should be on the ship which leaves 3rd. July to Japan. (HK) |

Amoy and Senzhu area is the most famous stone industries, which it takes about1~2hours from Amoy. As you can see from photos, There are hundreds of youg masons in hundreds of factories! And they are such hardest workers I ever seen. |

90% of all products are for japanese marcket. Mr.Shin told me that there are not as much work as it used to be for 10 tears ago, but it seems to me that they still have hell of a lot of jobs here and certainly quality is getting much much better these days. (HK) |

Still hangover, but I managed to got onto airplane O.K. I had to wait for 5 hours to changplane at Kouzhu Airport to Amoy. Chintao Beer saved me to not to get bored to death. I arrived Amy about 7:30 and mr. Shin picked me up from the airport, fed me andbrought me to the hotel. I asked chinese massage room service. good 1 hour treatment completely refresh my back and brain!(HK) |

I was in Nango town to check the foundations just made for the sculpture for the new libraly. When I came home there waiting momose and Mr. and Mrs.Honda. Nice friends need nice whiskys. Also emptied the bottle of Arak from Lebanon. Completely drunk I was, but Kate pushed me into the train to Morioka to get the overnight bus to Tokyo. I was supposed to catch the flight to China tommow morning!!(HK) |

Went back to Ukishima. Sean was playing GAMEBOY, which Naoya kindly rent him, until midnight last night and started playing from 5 o'clock this moring!! We also picked up Emily, who just went to Sendai school trip and stayed at Ikue-chan's house last night. Family's together again!(HK) |

I had relaxed morning bath. With Mr. Kanazawa who came to join us from Iwate last night, we set all stones in the new japanese garden at hte Embassy.(HK) |

After lunch, next we have set our three sculptures at the mansion, Dorchester Minamiaoyama. Mrs. kojima and her son also from spaceTRY came to help us. Nice gallery people! We at last arrived in Sendai about 10o'clock in the evening.(HK) |

Also Kate, sean and me drove kanazawa's truck down to Tokyo with all garden stones on the back. My father came to meet us at Sendai motorway exit to pick up Sean. |

We went to see Hokusai Exhibiton at Yorozu museum. Very good show with lot of interesting prints. Very hot day today, but chilldren played in the play groung at the back of the museum for a while. On the way home we stopped in the new big shopping centre in Morioka, to buy Emily's new shoes for coming school trip to Sendai next week.(HK) |

We tried to get to see the show at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, but we changed mind at Ueno, to walk around Ame-yoko, for window shopping. Went back to Ukishima, and took my mother to station to see her off to Sendai, who was looking after Emily and Sean last few days. Then we drove children to Kendo class and kate and me went to board of director meeting of Iwate Town International Association. (HK) |
