Wednesday 30th April , "Sawing machine"
My mother's 45 years old sawing machine had broken driving belt for more than 10 years. We have got this belt replaced by service man from Morioka today. Machine is back in life again! This machine is so beautifull that we never want to throw away, even though we have electric one as well. (HK)
Tuesday 29th April , "Spring Has Come"
Cherry trees and plum trees started to bloom at last in Ukishima.(HK)
Sunday 27th April , "Easter"
One week late Easter party with Moris and Kikuchis family. Rolling eggs and spoon race.(HK)
Saturday 26th April , "Open School"
Ukishima plimary school's open day. (HK)
Wednesday 23rd April , "More Stone"
I went down to Shiroishi with Saito's 10t truck to pick up some stone for the sculpturte of Roppongi Hills Restaurant. It took us 15 hours.(HK)
Tuesday 22ndMarch , "Moris Photograph"
Mori is taking shot for invitation card of Kate's Morioka Exhibition. (HK)
Saturday 19th April , "Grand Opening of Kamakura Womens University"
Kamakura Woman's University's Grand Opening day today. All chairmans of private universities around Tokyo were there as well as politicians such as Kanagawa prefecture's new and old Governer. Prime Minister Koizumi and Yohei Kono were also on the list. School's Marching band is very famous and they did funtastic performance. On the way back to Tai restaurant in Roppongi to meet up with Chitwan and Gagan, we dropped in the Tomas Herzog Exhibition in Daikanyama which was very impressive. Dancing and drinking sround far midnight again!

Friday 18th April , "New Salvatore Restaurant at Roppongi Hills"
We took early morning Shinkansen from Iwate-Numakunai to tokyo, to do scribble on the wall in Salvatore Restaurant in Roppongi Hills with him and Shiomi-sans. Chitwan and Kate look like quite confident about writing in Italian, but I'm not!(HK)
Thursday 17th April , "Stone Quarry"
Tried to find suitable stone for Roppong Hills project in bsalt quorry in Shiroishi, Where my university friend sculptor Naoko Koseki has studio. Found some but we could not pull out to load on to truck, so I have to come back here soon.(HK)
Sunday 13th April , "New House Ceremony"
In Japan we have a lot of ceremonies and festivals. If you build a new house, you will have a dosen of those. Throwing Mochi from the roof to publid gathered to celebrate the completion of the roof is one of them. We build the roof first here in Japan, off course. Today Kate and Emily went to this celemony at Emily's school class mate Ikue-chan's family building site of their new house in Ukishima.(HK)
Saturday 12th April , "Dream Club"
Dream Club drinking party. (HK)
Exhibition opening at Iwate Museum of Art today. Exhibiton is called 'Colours in Korea' to introduce wide range of Korean Art from folk art to Cotemporatry Video stuff. Our children are throughly enjoying comtemporary bits a lot. (HK)
Wednesday 9th April , "Jacky"
Jacky Parry came to visit us from Scotland.(HK)
Monday 7th April , "Ping Pong"
Emily's getting really good at playing Ping-Pong. (HK)
Friday 4th April , "Swimming Classes"
This is the last day of 4days swimming cource in Sendai. Emily at last is better today, so she also joined the class. We also went to watch 'Doraemon' movie in the big cinema in town. (HK)
Tuesday 1st April , "Mouse"
After all snow melt, cinamon is so happy to chase mouse. (HK)
