At last we arrived in Cambridge yesterday, after driving 8 hours on the motor way (Jimmy and kate - I did not drive!). Next day took us almost all day to set up the show, then went into the town of Cambridge to have a drink and a meal to celebrate (it was too late to get anything to eat when we arrived last night).
Jimmy is painting plinths, and Kate's hanging pictures. (HK) |

Sean and Emily very happy to be on the way to school! Mary set Robyn in the push chair for the walk to school with the her older cousins, and she is ready to go to her office, and we can set off for Jimmy's studio to pick up the rest of the sculpture and then on to Cambridge with a hire van full of sculpture.
Ann-chan is now left with Robyn and Liz's twins who arrived just after this shot was taken. Sean who is a primary 1 school boy in Scotland is very proud of his home work, which he never has in Japanese kindergarten (school starts at 6 not 5 years old in Japan). (HK) |

The children were up since five thirty this morning, and came into our bed saying "Let's go to the school!!" This is NOT too bad! Last year they were up at 4 for a week long! It is called jetlag. (HK) |

We were not quite able to concentrate or to get rid of her as soon as possible, so that we can get on with preparations to go to UK. But She was so interested that it took us until 8in the evening to persaude her to stop filming and leave! (HK) |

These are the boxes sent to an organisation in Kobe. They collect unnescesary clothes and send them to Asian,or African countries. You also have to send postage cost to those countries (1,500yen per box), as well as the Takkyubin cost from here to Kobe. But, I feel much better than giving 100yen to Red cross or something which we don't know what they do with it. (HK) |

(We have at last completed the children's House. Flowers out in their bed the children made last year. (HK) |
