Wedensday, 31st.January, "Sapporo"

Ship arrived at 6:30 in the morning. I was still drunk. It took us about an hour to get to Sapporo . No snow.(HK)

Setting my piece into the lobby of one of the very luxuary high rise appartment building right in front of Sapporo station, finished about lunch time.

We all together went to have nice Sushi lunch in the station building. Then visited the interesting art park done by one of my friend, Yamaya, which is turned from ald stone quarry outside of Sapporo. We had barbecue supper and drinks at Susukino street.(HK)

Tuesday, 30th.January, "Ferry"

Okada helped us to get a ret-a- car from Morioka and put my piece. We took a ferry boat from Hachinohe to Tomakomai, on which we met friends, who do japanese archerry riding on the back of horse. They are also on the way to Yabusame conferrence in Sapporo. We occupied the lobby and had a nice party.(HK)

Saturday, 27th.January, "Friends Party"

New year party with Ishigami Museum Friends in town. I gave atalk first about my experience in Greece, then party in Restaurant. This is second one in bar.(HK)

Sunday, 21st.January, "Bonefire"

Warm and quiet afternoon, a bit like already spring has come. We gathered dry grasses adn had a little bonefire.(HK)

Thursday, 18th.January, "Snow"

I donot know if it was Global warming, why we do not have snow this winter so far, but, tonight , look! at last all white again. (HK)

Wednesday, 17th.January, "Newsletter"

	Eily's school started today. Winter holliday finishes at last. We brought Kate's stone cut donut from factory in town into our new studio. (HK)
	Editors meeting for the 1st newsletter of the Iwate Town International Assoiation. We are publishing it at the end of the month.(HK)

Tuesday, 16th.January, "Marking"

Kate is marking her marble, the sculpture for the chocolate shop in Nagoya. It is going to be a sweet shape.(HK)

Monday, 15th.January, "New Window"

I set the new window piece into Mr.Sasaki's house. This window is made of basalt, not like usual black granite. In this type of basalt we offen find the crack inside of the stone, so it is not easy to complete this kind of tricky shape.(HK)

Saturday, 13th.January, "Branch"

We are invited to have amazing branch by Phillis and Martine's house in the neibour of the hotel where we are staying. We went to SHUGO ART and Hermes gallery before went back to Ukishima, picking up children in Sendai on the way. (HK)

Friday, 12th.January, "Spi Off"

Meeting in Tokyo about Nagoya piece. We visited Tokyo Photographic Museum to see three different shows. Had drinks at the What The Dickens and Super Deluxe in Roppongi until three in the morning.(HK)

Thursday, 11th.January, "Kato"

Setting small memorial stone for the hospital in Morioka.(HK)

Saturday, 6th.January, "End of Xmas"

	Packing up Xmas decorations. (HK)
	I and Sean cleaned my apple keyboard. Key strike was getting realy stiff from too much game playing by Sean, but now this became beautiful and smooth touch with greeced up keys. (HK)

Wednesday, 3rd.January, "Alex"

Start working in studio. Little bit chilly but, no snow on the ground. This year we have very little snow so far. Alex came with her cousin in the evening.(HK)

Tuesday, 2nd.January, "New Year Party"

Back from Sendai we straight went to the Hotel Metropolitan Morioka New Wing, New Year viking Party with Family Saito. (HK)

Monday, 1st.January, "Shrine"

First visit to the shrine. We drove to Shiogama, where famous shrine there. Actualy this is my mother's home town. Long queue, it took us one hour to get to the temple.(HK)
